Patch 2.3 in many aspects, in a great buff for all Paladins. However, none of us will enjoy as much as the Retribution Paladins. I mean look at the highlighted patch notes below, I’m spotting like 60% of them Retribution related, with the most of the rest being non-tree specific anyway. So really, if you have been dying to be ret, this is the time!
One of the biggest buffs in this patch, is the shortened cooldown of Crusader Strike. Finally we are back to the very original version, beta-tbc’s Crusader Strike with only 6-second cooldown. It’s huge buff. Instead of 6 strikes a minute, now you can do 10 strikes a min. That’s 40% increase in damage just solely on one skill! Then again, it’s main utility is probably not the damage, but the controllability in damage that it offers.
In an ideal situation, you would be able to the finishing combo: Avenging Wrath, Hammer of Justice, Judgement of Command, Crusader Strike, Hammer of Wrath… profit! Or, perhaps for a longer version of a finishing combo: Avenging Wrath, Crusader Strike, white hit, Seal of Command hit, Hammer of Justice, Judgement of Command, white hit, Crusader Strike, Hammer of Wrath… gg?
Just want to give a shout out to all of you that I am done upgrading the back-end, installing plug-ins, and made some adjustments to the numerous other things on wowPaladin.org. So yeap, I’m going to begin my weekly updates as of now. Once I’m getting the drift I will then update the blog more often.
I may also look into how I could perhaps get more people to blog here instead of just maintaining things myself. We’ll see how that work out once I’m done sorting out the details.
Finally, if you have a WoW related blog or website, and if you feel that I’m providing useful information, please do link to me. :) Actually I don’t really mind if they are related or not as long as I get a link. :P
Very sorry for the long hiatus. I have been very busy and haven’t been able to research and update on this website as frequent as I would like to.
Currently I’m trying to make some adjustments on the structure of website, and then I wish to commit to at least a weekly update on the website. So stay tuned. :)
