Short Hiatus

Awfully sorry for the short hiatus. I will be away for 1 week. I just did PRK Laser Eye Correction and it took longer than expected to heal. So right now I can only see blur images of everything. I apologize for the lack of updates and no replies from my mailbox. I’m confident that I’ll be back in another week.

Meanwhile please sign up at our forum and chit-chat away with the other paladins. :)

2.4 Rumored Patch Notes

Last patch, some apparently rumored patch notes actually made it to live. Crusader Strike down to 6-second cooldown, threat reduction ability etc. This time, another round of rumored patch notes have been released on WoW Forums. It will be really interesting to see if any of these went live.

Some of the highlights include increased range of Judgement (which will be awesome), trainable Repentance (great buffs for the other two trees), new Retribution talents. The new 21-point Retribution talent is really vague, and unless Holy Shock is also turned into a baseline ability, I see no reason why Retribution tree would have something that effects Holy Shock. Finally, Vengeance Aura looks really interesting, but would it render Judgement of Justice redundant? Especially if this is a 30-yard ability that affects unlimited people in the range, with PoJ you will be running at 35% faster than everyone. That’s almost like a passive Sprint. Okay maybe not as fast but it’s always on.

Blood Elf Paladin Level 12 Quests Guide

At level 12, the Blood Elf Paladins will receive their first ever class quest. This quest is very important because it teaches Redemption, arguably one of the most important class skill when you’re grouping with others. I mean, well… if you don’t have it and someone died, let’s just be prepared to be kicked and ignored ever after. Yes that’s how serious it could be. So no, don’t skip this.

A good news is that, this quest is very easy. Absolutely soloable at level 12. The entire quest chain looks like this:

Series
  1. Summons from Knight-Lord Bloodvalor
  2. The First Trial
  3. A Study in Power
  4. Claiming the Light
  5. Redeeming the Dead
1. Summons from Knight-Lord Bloodvalor

WoW commercial parody

Remember the two WoW commercials released not so long ago by Blizzard, featuring Mr. T and William Shatner? Hunts from Jubei’thos-US has decided to make a parody in response to their “What’s your game?” advertisements. Check this awesome parody after the jump. :) Also included the original Mr. T and William Shatner’s WoW Commercials.

PS: I eat Gnomes for breakfast too!
And PS: There’s no Night Elf Mohawk!

My new Blood Elf Paladin

My New Blood Elf Paladin

Yesterday, I rerolled a new Blood Elf Paladin. I have abandoned my old Human Paladin on Korgath for quite sometime now and resorted to a Warrior on another server at the horde side. Main reason being that I have always been a very Ret-noob guy. Back in the old days I could not find a spot to fill in. Plus Korgath isn’t exactly the best for my Oceanic timezone. Logging into an empty server most of my time is quite boring. I have to point out though, just by hanging around Ironforge allows you to witness awesome eye candies from DnT. All the latest phat loots that no one else in the world has gotten yet.

Anyway, with the latest buffs to Retribution, it really makes me want to go back to my Paladin again. However, the timezone issue is still a problem, hence I have decided to just reroll one on this Oceanic server that I am playing (Hah! The server name shall remain as a mystery until WoW Armory is up).
